S.T.O.P. Sex Trafficking: The Call to End 21st Century Slavery

According to the U.S State Department, sex trafficking is a “modern day form of slavery” – the fastest growing form of international crime.  Every day, traffickers lure innocent women and children from the most vulnerable parts of the world into lives of involuntary sex slavery.

There are over a million women and children trafficked into sex slavery each year, and there are nearly 20,000 trafficked annually into the United States. Many of these victims are trafficked into the Southeast.

“Stop Sex Trafficking: A Call To End 21st Century Slavery” will include presentations by nationally acclaimed scholars, leaders in the faith community, service providers, and survivors.  The conference aspires to:

  • Raise awareness about sex trafficking
  • Encourage faith-based mission work overseas and support groups to help survivors here at home
  • Aid service providers, law enforcement, and local government in fighting sex trafficking and supplying care for survivors
  • Provide a forum for student groups to join hands and work to end sex slavery

The conference has been designed to be welcoming to all: faith leaders, students, scholars, service providers, the legal community, and anyone interested in learning how we can join together to rescue women and children and protect thousands more from sex slavery.

Every year, the traffickers rob thousands of innocent victims of their normal lives.

We ask you for a day and a half to help stop them.
